  1. The annual dues of this association shall be $18 plus the current NGA Handicap Service fee.  After August 1, the dues for the remainder of the year shall be $8 plus the current NGA Handicap Service fee.  The NGA Handicap Service fee entitles the member to either the 9-Hole Handicap Service OR the 18-Hole Handicap Service with the USGA Golf Handicap & Information Network (GHIN).
  2. Junior GHIN membership dues shall be $5 plus the current NGA Junior Handicap Service fee.
  3. The association's newsletter called Golfabout shall be sent to all paid members a minimum of three times a year.
  4. Weekly tee times at the public golf courses will be requested from the City of Lincoln's Parks and Recreation Department each year.

O For morning play, the days, locations, and tee times are:
Monday = Mahoney Golf Course
Tuesday = Holmes Golf Course
Thursday = Pioneers Golf Course
Friday = Highlands Golf Course
(18-hole players will tee off first followed by the 9-hole players.)
The tee times are dependent on the time of year:
APRIL = 10 a.m.
MAY = 9 a.m.
JUNE, JULY, AUGUST = 8:30 a.m.
SEPTEMBER = 9 a.m.
OCTOBER = 10 a.m.
(The 9-hole players will tee off approximately 15-30 minutes later.)

O For afternoon or evening play, the days and locations are:
Monday = Pioneers Golf Course
Tuesday = Holmes Golf Course
Wednesday = Highlands Golf Course
Thursday = Mahoney Golf Course
The official tee times are reserved with Parks and Rec during the off season.  We try to get tee times somewhere between 4:00 and 6:15 p.m. and vary them among the days.  Because of the demand for league play on the city courses, these times can change from year to year.  Please check with the coordinators of the evening leagues or call the associated golf course for information regarding evening tee times.

The USGA GHIN golf season in Nebraska usually runs from March through October.

  1. The LWMGA will host various special events throughout the season. All events are dependent upon participation and may be canceled due to low interest. The Club Championship will be coordinated by the Executive Board. All other special events will be coordinated by the Executive Board or appointed chairwomen.

  2. The LWMGA Club Championship is open to all current LWMGA members with an established USGA handicap. There are two divisions of the Club Championship Tournament:  a 9-hole division and an 18-hole division. A minimum of ten participants is needed to have a division. To enter the Club Championship, the following rules will be observed:

a. Your GHIN handicap must be established through your LWMGA membership.

b. If you wish to play in the 18-hole division, your established 18-hole handicap index will be used. If you only have an established 9-hole handicap index, your 18-hole handicap index will be determined by doubling your 9-hole handicap index.

c. If you wish to play in the 9-hole division, your established 9-hole handicap index will be used. If you only have an established 18-hole handicap index, your 9-hole handicap index will be determined by halving your 18-hole handicap index.

The LWMGA Handicap Chairwoman shall validate and provide the most current handicap for each participant in the event.

The tournament will be a two-day event. It will be held on a Friday and Saturday. If the days are to change, it must be decided no later than the fall association meeting so the dates can be reserved in January with the City Parks & Rec.
